Business rules
Pending and/or applications RECEIVED on or before Monday, September 26, 2011 (5:00 p.m. CDT) will be issued as applied for.
Applications RECEIVED on or after Tuesday, September 27, 2011 will be issued with the changes listed.
MasterDex X and Simple Income II/III changes will require use of new Statements of Understanding and consumer brochures. New versions will be available on our website and in our supply department on September 26, 2011 and will have revision dates of R-9/2011. Business received on or after September 26, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. CDT, but submitted with an outdated SOU, will require the R-9/2011 version of the SOU(s) to be signed.
Important reminder: The following states have adopted the NAIC Suitability Model Regulation and require that we have the correct SOU at the time the application is submitted: IA, CO, WI, RI, DC, NY, OH, OR, WV, ND, SC. In these states, we will not issue the contract until we have the correct SOU. This will delay commissions.
Due to high application volumes, and to ensure accuracy standards are maintained, we will suspend the 48-hour challenge beginning Thursday, September 22 and is scheduled to resume on Monday, October 17.
In addition, applications received at peak times may not be processed or appear on the Allianz website for up to five business days. To ensure you receive the most up-to-date information, enroll in our automated email program that provides current new business and transfer pending requirements.
