Take a look at some of our underwriting changes:
- For proposed Insureds ages 45-59, an EKG will no longer be required
- If the Proposed Insured's age is 60-69 and he/she has not seen a doctor in the past 24 months, in lieu of a current APS, we will require a Paramed Exam, HOS, Blood and, if not already on the list of requirements, an EKG
- If the Proposed Insured's age is 70-79 and he/she has not seen a doctor in the last
15 months, in lieu of a current APS, we will require a Paramed Exam, HOS, Blood and, if not already on the list of requirements, an EKG
- If the long term care monthly maximum exceeds $15,000 for ages 70+, we will require a phone interview. This interview will use the Enhanced Mental Skills Test (EMST) cognitive screen
